Congratulations on an inspiring and very insightful session. I will be pursuing all of the new technologies in my work at OTEN.

Hi was a fun evening, the group learnig participatory approach was new for me, will go back over all the video audio and pictures we captured and reflect on the successes and what could be improved. In particular I would like to change the spacing of the chairs to be in a circle. The chairs where in a horseshoe and some commented taht they could not hear me. If we where to have had a circle I and others could have got up and spoken from the center freeing up space for participants to put up their post it notes during the first session. I would also ditch the TV and have a simple projector screen and speakers for the laptop to make ity easier to arrange within the space. What do you think?

In particular I would like to change the spacing of the chairs to be in a horseshoe. Some commented that they could not hear me. If we where to have had a horseshoe I and others could have got up and spoken from the center alowing people to hear better, removing the presenter audience hierarchy and freeing up space for participants to put up their post it notes during the first session. I would also ditch the TV and have a simple projector screen and speakers for the laptop to make it easier to set up and arrange within the space. What do you think?

I’ve had a look at my delicious account and the fans (delicious talk) that signed up on the night.

I wonder if they realise they actively part of my network?

    Hi Gary

Being part of a professional network can be very empowering in terms of sharing knowledge. Good to clarify on this with your colleagues One needs to be aware of how the tools are being used and there are decisons in what one shares with a network. It comes down to having the digital literacy skills to be informed and empowered to use the tools as one sees fit. There is an option to not share a link when posting a website to a del.icio.us account.

    Cheers

    Steven
