Kathy G’s been hard at it again and has provided another article for us to cogitate on. Hopefully all the posted articles will help us frame our group process reflections that we will be recording as a podcast on 8/11 and posting on this blog shortly after (fingers crossed!)
Gary provided us with the following article on learning styles from Branko Kulevski BAIT Curriculum Project Coordinator, who has kindly given us permission to use the article so long as we acknowledge the source – absolutely!

Procedures for registration and money handling
1 – Everyone promote the workshop (with strategic guidance from the
marketing group). Keep copies of fliers and tickets.
2 – Prior to each wednesday weekly meeting, each group member is to
email / contact Ian (mobile: 0418675502) if they need more tickets
or fliers, and he will print more and bring them to class.
3 – At each weekly meeting of the group (Wednesdays), each group
member is to:
a. Bring in registration forms and cash and give to Ian. Ian will
maintain a registration list and hold the money.
b. Pick up more fliers / tickets.
4 – After the last group meeting of the semester, Ian will maintain
email contact with all group members – and ask the same of the
group!
We will arrange money handling procedures after Uni finishes for
the year when that arrives.
To follow on from Kathy’s great find on “emotional intelligence”, the group is putting together a list of articles that different members have found useful and interesting regarding the workshop process:

As part of our workshop process, our group has been reflecting on how we operate and are in agreement that this has been a very successful group to date. It has been proposed that we explore this success further as a legacy to future workshop groups at UTS. Kathy Gelding provided us with the following article:
“Does emotional intelligence affect successful teamwork?” by Joe Luca and Pina Tarricone from Edith Cowan University
