Procedures for workshop registration

Procedures for registration and money handling

1 – Everyone promote the workshop (with strategic guidance from the

marketing group). Keep copies of fliers and tickets.

2 – Prior to each wednesday weekly meeting, each group member is to

email / contact Ian (mobile: 0418675502) if they need more tickets

or fliers, and he will print more and bring them to class.

3 – At each weekly meeting of the group (Wednesdays), each group

member is to:

a. Bring in registration forms and cash and give to Ian. Ian will

maintain a registration list and hold the money.

b. Pick up more fliers / tickets.

4 – After the last group meeting of the semester, Ian will maintain

email contact with all group members – and ask the same of the

group!

We will arrange money handling procedures after Uni finishes for

the year when that arrives.

Successful group work – Article # 1

As part of our workshop process, our group has been reflecting on how we operate and are in agreement that this has been a very successful group to date. It has been proposed that we explore this success further as a legacy to future workshop groups at UTS. Kathy Gelding provided us with the following article:
